Letters and papers by or concerning members of the Pearson family of Yorkshire and Mountcross County Cork. Besides members of the Pearson family, the collection includes letters written by: John Bernard Burke, Richard Caulfield, George Field, John Griffiths, John Torrens Kyle, Bishop William Nicholson, John Palliser, George Plaxton, Dacre Hamilton Powell, Archbishop Sharp, Bishop Edward Tennison, Bishop Richard Terrick, and Albert William Woods. The collection includes an extensive genealogical tree compiled by Mrs Laville which clarifies relationships between members of the family who appear in this Handlist.
