Lease by Samuel Holtham, of Stratford upon Avon, cooper, to Hugh Clopton of the Middle Temple, esq., and Thomas Woolmer of Stratford, gent., of a messuage etc. in Bridge Street, in the tenure of the lessor, lying between a messuage in the tenure of Thomas Evetts on the east and a messuage in the tenure of Henry Horne, tailor, on the west, and extending from the street backwards to the waste ground called the Guild Pitts, for 500 years at a pepper-corn rent, in trust for a jointure for Eleanor Newman, of Old Stratford, spinster, intended wife of the said Samuel Holtham.
