November 1930 Passed examination regarding tuberculosis nursing

1931 - 1938 Midwife, Hertfordshire

1938 - 1947 Midwife, Bedford

20 March 1947 Became member of the Royal College of Nursing

23 October 1950 Became Life Member of the Royal College of Nursing

1 December 1953 Received medal for 21 years service, Queen's Institute of District Nursing

15 December 1992 Died at Bedford

Arthur Wadelin (father)

Born on 16 August 1877 at Liverpool Road, Warrington, Lancs, the son of Samuel, an iron worker and Hannah, formerly Birch. He was butler at Peterborough House, Heathfield, Hansworth, Birmingham, at Carlett Park, Eastham, Birkenhead, at Swancliffe Hall, Ripley, near Leeds, and Liscombe Park, Bucks Died on 28 March 1916, in France, while serving with the 1st Bucks Battalion of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry.

Alice Jessie Wadelin (mother)

Born on 11 January 1869 at Chigwell, Essex, as Alice Jessie Broad, the daughter of George, a sawyer, and Jane Sarah Broad, formerly Mansfield Died on 2 February 1944 at St Faith's, Ashwell Street, Leighton Buzzard, aged 75
