'A Treatise Concerning the payment of tythes and Oblations in London', by Brian Walton, subsequently (1660) Bishop of Chester, [1638]. A copy with insertions and alterations in Walton's hand. The treatise was occasioned by the grievances of the clergy that tithes in London did not reflect actual rents. The treatise is printed in Collectanea ecclesiastica, collected and published by Samuel Brewster, 1752, 1-230. See also MS.272 and C.M.VIII-IX.
