Description (What the record is about)
-
Letters from James Watt Jr. to William Creighton, head of the Drawing Office, from July to December 1818. Letters from the first half of 1818 will be found in the previous bundle.
This bundle was examined and possibly re-arranged by Henry Hazleton in the 1890s, as it has a card cover in the same style as the previous five large bundles. It is unclear whether Hazleton divided the 1818 letters into two bundles, or whether he was preserving a division that had been made by Creighton.
