Indenture of covenants between ffrancis Keyte of Hidcott Bartram, co. Gloucs., esquire and Chambers Slaughter of Over Slaughter same county, gentleman, whereby, for the barring and extinguishing of all former intailes in the lands thereinafter mentioned, and for their conveyance to ffrancis Keyte, it was agreed that he, ffrancis Keyte, should before the end of Easter term then next ensuing levy and acknowledge before the Kings Majesties Justices of his highness Court of Common Pleas unto the said Chambers Slaughter one or more fine or fines sur conuzance de droit come ceo, of and upon:-
The capital messuage in Hidcott Bartram
The close in which it stood;
The Windmill Close;
Two meadows called the two Square meadowes;
The close called the Gate peice;
The long meadow;
The Upper Close;
The close or parcel of pasture containing c.15 acres;
Two closes of meadow or pasture ground ... [defective] ... ... which ... were lately bought by ffrancis Keyt of ffrancis Welles and Lucy [ ] and were theretofore the lands and inheritance of John Parsons and Phillip Parsons, gentleman.
The close called Bakers Hill, and
Two closes of arable ground known as the Rye peices, all which premises were scituate in Hidcott Bartram and Mickleton, co. Gloucs., and of and upon the Rectory and impropriate tythes arising thereon, by the name of one messuage, one garden, one orchard, 20 acres of land, 20 acres of meadow, 90 acres of pasture and 20 acres of furze and heath, and all tenths and tythes of grain, woole, lambs etc. (except hay), arising thereon, such premises to be and enure to the only proper use and behoof of ffrancis Keyte, his heirs and assigns for ever.
