Description

Jock safe in German East Africa after major engagement with heavy English losses. Superiority of German gun power. News of destruction of 3 German Men-of-War off Falklands after loss of 3 English ships off coast of Chile. King George V in France; decorated King Albert of the Belgians with Order of the Garter. "Germans putting up a magnificent fight...... Austrians seem almost useless".
