Description (What the record is about)
-
This Company was formed in 1922, and had close association in the earliest years with Cambrian Coaching & Goods Transport Ltd. It ran coaches to London, and operated a haulage concern. Following early financial difficulties, it became in 1926 a subsidiary of Keith & Boyle (London) Ltd., though in 1955 Shamrock & Rambler Coaches Ltd. of Bournemouth became beneficial owners of all the shares. In later years there was an express coach and garage business, which was split in 1963/4 when the Company went into voluntary liquidation: the garage business was transferred to Aquarium Garages Ltd., (also within the Keith & Boyle Group), and the coach business was sold to Southdown Motor Services Ltd.
