Opened 1874. Board School for boys, girls and infants. Became Senior School c1935 and renamed Portsea Secondary Modern in 1946 with separate schools for boys and girls. Girls School renamed John Pounds Secondary Modern in 1959. Both departments closed in 1975 and became annexe to City of Portsmouth Boys School.
