The first part of this collection, Chap. I - XII, consists of title deeds for properties in Kingham and other places in Oxon., Glos. and Berks. Chap/XIII-XX consists partly of family papers relating to the Phillips family of Kingham, and partly of official papers relating to the duties of George Phillips and his predecessors, whether as clerk to Kingham Parish Council, Assistant Overseer, Land Valuation Officer or Tax Collector.
