Family, estate and business records of the Ford family of Lower House, Branscombe. These relate chiefly to Henry Ford, J.P. (1840-1908) and his sons John (1865-1949), a surveyor and architect, and Clement (1877-1961), a farmer and sheep-breeder. The Ford estate - the manor of Branscombe - included valuable limestone cliffs at Branscombe and Beer (see 1037M-0/B/1/1).
