[Whiteman née Miss Burgess]. Says she was awarded the Eichelberger humane award for her book 'Honour come back' (published 1935) in America. Then found to her dismay that it had been given to her AND Adolf Hitler so she had to respectfully decline it. She has been asked to write 'the book' for the Ripon Pagent. No date [mentions Abyssinian War which started 3 Oct 1935 probably written Nov or Dec 1935].
