Description

Consists of the papers (chiefly proceedings, minutes of evidence, correspondence, memoranda, notes and reports) of special investigating or deliberative bodies, mostly working in India or Britain, appointed to report on subjects of special concern to the India Office and the Government of India. Also includes papers from international committees and conferences of interest to the India Office. Numbers IOR/Q/14, IOR/Q/17 and IOR/Q/20 not used.
