by Alice Booth of Chipping Norton, widow, that she is 46 yrs.old; her maiden name was Alice Sandalls. She was married to Joseph Boscott formerly of Chipping Norton, gardener, deceased at Icomb,Glos on 11 Nov.1854. He d.intestate on 21 December 1871 leaving her his widow and John Boscott his only child surviving. She then married Thomas Booth of Chipping Norton innkeeper and fettler and he died at Ch.Norton on 15 Aug. 1876. The persons in the annexed marriage certificate are Alice Booth and Joseph Boscott. Joseph Boscott was only married once. There was no settlement at the time of his marriage or afterwards. There were 5 children of the marriage, namely John, Ellen,Ann, Alice,Sarah Ann. The John Boscott mentioned in the annexed certificate of birth is my son, who was born 9 Oct. 1857. The Joseph Boscott in the annexed certificate of death is my first husband.
