Letter (with envelope) from Daniel Price to his uncle, Rev. R.J.Davies.

He obtained from the various parties interested receipts for the money bequeathed to his sisters by his Aunt, and which he forwarded to Davies on 18th April last. He believes he received that letter but has had no acknowledgement, and he finds himself in a disagreeable position with Niccolini as he wishes to know why the amount is not handed over to him, so he wants Davies to tell him when he thinks he will pay the amount and mention the interest due on 2 May last; whatever payments Davies may make to his bankers Price asks him to advice him as they do not.

The family are all pretty well; Sarah is the greatest invalid. They talk of leaving Florence in about 3 weeks for Castel al Mare near Naples for the benefit of the sea air. Amelia will, he hopes, be married before that time. Catherine had a fine little boy the other day, & they are both doing very well. "She is very happy and comfortable, and has a good kind husband.
