Dividing Edington between Edward Richards of Yaverland, gent., and Henry Hollis of Brading, yeoman, which manor was devised by the Will of one William Hollis, Esq., senior, (great-grandfather of said Henry) to his son, John Hollis of Parke and his heirs and for default of such heirs, which now of late hath happened by the death of William Hollis, son and heir of John Hollis, son and heir of said John Hollis of Parke, deceased, without issue, to Thomas Hollis nother son of the said olde William Hollis and to his heirs, which will is dated 12 October 10 Henry VIII (1518). Richards to have 1 parcel of land called Fosters, 1 ten. in occ. of John Fintche, 1 ten. in occ. of William Hollis, 1 ten. in occ. of William Andrews, 1 ten. in occ. of Leonard Cook and 1 ten. in occ. of Nicholas Oakely with lands belonging in the parishes of Brading and St. Helens. Henry Hollis to have 1 tenement in occ. of John Strugnell, 1 tenement in occ. of Henry Eves, 1 tenement in occ. of Steven Knackston, 1 tenement in occ. of Robert Booker, 1 tenement in occ. of John Hanson, 1 tenement in occ. of William Sellborne, 1 cottage in occ. of John Trell and parcel of land called Tyne (in Bembridge) in tenure of Thomas Bailey. Manorial dues divided between them. Hollis to quitclaim all right to land which was late purchased by Germain Richards of Richard Stawghton and Joan, his wife.
