This section contains unpublished personal papers produced by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury alongside a number of books, poems and memoirs which were privately published by Taylor Cadbury during her lifetime.
A typescript of a paper written by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury about her experiences visiting Europe which was circulated amongst her sisters and female friends is included in this section alongside a private notebook in which Taylor Cadbury recorded quotations from poetry and details about her visit to Florence in 1895. The section also includes examples of poetry written by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury during her adolescence and a later poem about the work of the Severn Street Adult School in Birmingham.
In addition, the section contains a private notebook providing details of books read by Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury as well as a copy of 'Historical Rhymes', a book featuring Elizabeth Taylor Cadbury's childhood memoirs which was privately published in 1937. The section also contains examples of correspondence which Taylor Cadbury collected in order to produce 'A Dear Memory: Pages from the Letters of Mary Jane Taylor', a book commemorating the life of her mother which was printed for private circulation in 1914. An illustrated booklet produced by Taylor Cadbury and her sisters following the death of their elder sister Margaret Graham (nee Taylor) is also included within this series.
