This collection of newspaper cuttings and notes on Cornish history belonged to the late Mr. Thomas Rundell, who was a Cornish Bard and a writer (under the pseudonym "Lanje") of letters and articles on the history of the county and its people. Mr. Rundell was formerly a schoolmaster at Lanjeth and continued to live at Lanjeth with his daughter, whose husband, the late Mr. F. J. Lomer, was headmaster of Lanjeth for many years. These papers are deposited in his memory by his daughter.
