Historical Note: St. Peter's church, Staines, was founded in 1873 by the Vicar of St. Mary's, Staines (q.v.) and was first known as St. Peter's Mission Chapel.
An 'iron church' was built c.1885 and a fully-fledged parish church consecrated in 1894.
