The line runs from the Uckfield to Mayfield road at Five Ashes, to join the South Eastern Railway's Tunbridge Wells and Hastings Branch at Ticehurst Road Station. Parishes: Mayfield, Heathfield, Burwash, Ticehurst. Names Five Ashes, Meer's Farm, Froghole, Bivelham, Claytons Farm, Moat Farm, Scotsford Bridge, Newbridge Wood, Forge. The Ticehurst to Mayfield road intersects the line at Burwash. A section is given with horizontal line as above and vertical scale 1": 100 feet. Cross-sections included with horizontal scale 1": 5 chains and vertical scale 2.5" to 100 feet. An OS map is attached with intended route marked in red.
