Documents deposited by Mrs J L Watts, 40 Grove End Road, London NW8 (via HMC), 3 May 1966 (ACC 751). Mrs Watts responded to publicity in the Daily Telegraph by depositing a group of deeds with the Historical Manuscripts Commission, which distributed its contents to several record offices.

William Delves (1788-1823) was born at Crowhurst on 22 April 1788, son of the rector William Delves and his wife Ann. He matriculated at St John's College, Oxford, on 16 April 1807, became incumbent of Catsfield in 1813 and died on 4 May 1823.
