Description

1. John Pennington of Bouth in Furnessfells, parish of Coulton, Lancashire, merchant.

2. Thomas Scotson, his father-in-law of Bouth aforesaid, yeoman.

Premises: (1) lands at Bandridghead in Furnessfells aforesaid.

Term: 200 years.

Rent: 1/3 bloomsmithy rent.

Consideration: £200 plus interest to be paid back on 2 February 1751.

Witnesses: John Caddy, Frances Corker, Isaac Milburn.

Endorsement: Received on 19 February 1761 £208 from John Pennington son and heir-at-law of (1) by John Scotson.
