Include: copy specification for a pair of vertical blowing engines by Samuel Horrocks 25 Feb 1873; estimate for sinking a brine shaft 70 yards deep, by William Boden 10 Apr 1873; estimate for tower, cistern and shed 1873; abstracts of letters from Brunner, Mond & Co to Joseph Parks, boiler maker, of Wincham Jul 1873-Dec 1874, and "specification for a pair of High pressure Horizontal Engines together with two Blowing Cylinders to be erected at Northwich Cheshire, under the instruction and to the satisfaction of James Burrows Esq. C.E. of Wigan", by Joseph Clayton, Soho Foundry, Preston, 19 Jan 1875. Artificial collection made by A S Irvine, Manager, ICI Alkali Division Information Service.
