Taken under the oaths of Nicholas Walliveyne, esq. Humfrey Scudamore, esq., Richard Pearle, esq., John Wallweyne, gent, at Hereford.
Jane Shelley was the heiress of John Lingen, Kinght, who died seised of the manors of Sutton, Overcourt, Sutton Frame and of the manors Stretton, Wentnor, Shelve, Yocelton and Asheford, Salop, of which Jane Shelley held the manors of Wentnor, Shelve and Asheford at her death, which were worth £6 per annum.
Jane died on 26 March, 8 James 1, 1610
Edward Lingen, esq, is the right heir of Jane, being the son and heir of William Lingen, esq, decd. brother of the said John Lingen, esq, decd., father of the said Jane, and Edward was of the age of majority being over 40 years old.
