A letter from Leverhulme at Stornoway to D'Arcy Cooper
Date
1923
Description

Thanking him for the letter from Sir Frederick Lugard sent to Mr Bell. He thinks that many suggestions are good and in confidence he has been approached by Sir Lugard for a post in the Niger Company. Could be useful if retained in a consultancy capacity, but not right for the job that Mr Hyslop Bell has been appointed. "r "nWith Bell as chairman and Powis as Vice chairman , Lugard could have a few days as a consultant.
