Custodial history

1. As Acc. 1754 and 1755 relate to Brent Eleigh Hall Estate as a whole they have been combined to form Acc. 1754.

2. Whilst upon receipt some of these deeds were in their original bundles (mainly formed in July 1881) the great majority were in modern bundles and it was found necessary to alter these bundles somewhat for the purposes of reconstituting the archival collection, etc. The original bundles whose labels were found were as follows:
