Description

Photograph album measuring 282 x 240 mm, spine repaired with modern adhesive tape, inscribed Hyderabad, Deccan 1930-33 in ballpoint on front cover, and containing 97 prints of various sizes. The album was the property of Rosemary Keyes, daughter of Sir Terence Keyes (1877-1939), Indian Army and Resident at Hyderabad from 1930-33 and records official and family life at Hyderabad during this period. The majority of the photographs are amateur snapshots, but also included are a number of official photographs taken by professional photographers.
