Paper covered photograph album (some tears to covers) measuring 335x250mm and containing 26 prints, with typescript captions pasted beneath. A 9pp. leaflet published by the East Indian Railway Press in 1934 is pasted to the inner front board and describes the construction of the bridge and the flood repair work undertaken in 1933-34. The album was compiled by the father of the donor, Harold Robert von Lintzgy (see below). Harold Robert von Lintzgy (1902-1959) was born in Calcutta and educated at St Edmund's College, Shillong and Roorki Civil Engineering College. He was employed as an engineer on the Eastern Bengal Railway until 1951, rising to the position of Deputy Chief Engineer. From 1952 until his death in 1959 he was Chief Engineer, Ghana Railways (formerly Gold Coast Railways). Process = Gelatin silver prints.
