Title
Memo from Mr Lindsey to Mr Chapman, Armstrong Siddeley Motors: Chart showing flying times and serviceability of Wyvern aircraft VW.868 & VW.882; the Blackburn aircraft WB.797; Canberra WD.933
Date
28 August 1952
Description

The two Wyvern aircraft carried out 54 hours flying during the period compared with our target of 50 hours. Apart from aircraft overhauls which are unavoidable, the biggest delay on the Blackburn has been due to propeller oil leaks and the biggest delay on the Canberra was due to the re-arrangement of the Rotol gear boxes and the jet pipes and extractors due to the change to Sa.6 engines
