Humphry Benoke, mate and Granvill Williams, mariner, of the brigantine The Two Brothers of Boscastle, reported the loss during storm in Oct. of 377 bushels of white salt, part of a cargo of 25 tons of salt which they were transporting from Bristol to Boscastle for Richard Kingdon of Launceston; duty having been paid.

Richard Anger master and John Grigg mariner of the brigantine Richard and Jane of Padstow, reported the loss during stormy weather in Oct. of 130 bushels of white salt, part of a cargo of 880 bushels of salt shipped at Bristol by Edward Jackson on account of John Veal, Thomas Sampson and George Fox, bound for Mevagissey, Par and Fowey: duty having been paid.

Appeal of John Bennalls of Madron, husbandman against his agreement of apprenticeship of 13 Sep. last whereby William Bre (otherwise Watts) son of Collan Watts of Gwennap, miller, was to become his apprentice for 111/2 years: granted on grounds of frequent misconduct by apprentice; from the apprenticeship fee paid of 30s., 12s. to be refunded to Collan Watts, and 18s to be paid to the bridewell keeper for the maintenance of the apprentice whilst in custody, the apprentice now to be discharged from bridewell.
