Collection of 13 loose prints, comprising:. Prints 1-8 Family and group portraits of Dr and Mrs Sinha, including a group of the Publications Division staff of the Government of India and a photograph of the audience at a reception in Patiala on the occasion of World Health Day, 1957. Most of the photographs appear to have been taken around this period. Print 9 Mounted group portrait of participants at the UNESCO Seminar on the Status of Women in South Asia, 28 December 1952 to 3 January 1953. With key identifying sitters. Prints 10-11 Two copies of a mounted group portrait of the University of Delhi Association Universitaire Française, 1954-55. With key identifying sitters. Print 12 Mounted group portrait of the University of Delhi Association Universitaire Française, 1955-56. With key identifying sitters. Print 13 Group portrait of the Department of American History and Institutions of the Indian School of International Studies, New Delhi, taken on the occasion of the departure of Professor W.F. Ogburn, 18 April 1957. The collection also includes a mimeographed memoir of Dr Sinha's career as an author and as Director of the Publications Division of the Government of India, written by his wife Marthe Sinha. Dr Sinha (1901-1972) was Director of the Publications Division from 1947. Process = Gelatin silver prints. Photographers = Ved & Co, A.R. Datt;.
