This collection is supplementary to the larger Broxbournebury Collection, and, with the exception of the personal and official correspondence found in the present one, the same types of documents on the same subjects are found in both.
Some of the items of the larger collection were returned to its depositor, after its deposit, and, of these, some had already been catalogued and given numbers, and others not. These,or the majority of them, found their way back to this office and were added to Accession 855. In March 1971 those which could be identified were put back in their proper place in the Broxbournebury Collection. Those which could not be identified conclusively have been included in the present collection. In addition to T4 and T5, which are almost certainly the items previously numbered B1055 and B1060, it is likely that T1-3 and T6 fall in this group.
