Recognizance of Richard King of St Hilary, yeoman, for the appearance of his son, William King, at Christmas sessions last: to be discharged.

Appeal of Blisland against order dated 8 Apr. 1779 for removal of Jane Roberts, single woman, and her base child John (5) from Simonward to Blisland: order confirmed re Jane Roberts, but reversed re her son.

No prisoners of war to be admitted to the new gaol except by order signed by two J.P.s, and specifying the exact number. After the removal of the prisoners of war now there, the new gaol and bridewell to be repaired and cleaned under the direction of the surgeon, Mr Hambly, so that prisoners may be transferred there from the old bridewell, at which time the salary of the keeper of the old bridewell is to cease.

Application of Bodmin for writ against John Tredwen, William Tredwen and John Hamley of St Mabyn for disobeying bastardy orders made at former sessions: Clerk of the Peace to issue scire facias against them to appear at next sessions.

William Menadew of Sithney, labourer; pleaded guilty to stealing a poldavy sack, value 6d., from Arthur Hockin: 7 years in bridewell, or enlistment.

John Wedlock and William Menadue jun., bill of ignoramus found: to be discharged.

William Warren of Kea, gent.; pleaded guilty to assault: fined 6d.

Samuel Mounts of Grampound, labourer; acquitted of stealing 3 yds of saddler's pannell linen cloth, value 3s., from Robert Paplin.

Nicholas Sinclair; committed to bridewell at last sessions for want of sureties: to remain in custody.

Henry Hick; committed for want of sureties in bastardy: to be discharged on condition that he enlist in Royal Navy.

Richard Presson; committed as idle and disorderly: to be sent to Plymouth to enlist in Royal Navy.
