Further papers concerning the Oxford Committee for Promoting Friendship and Understanding with Europe, and a meeting of Christian Action in the Albert Hall on 25 March 1948 to promote the union of western European nations. The chairman of the meeting was Lord Halifax and the meeting was addressed by Sir Stafford Cripps. Also papers concerning a follow-up meeting of Christian Action at Caxton Hall, 14 February 1949, and meetings at Birmingham, 28 May 1949, and Oxford Town Hall, 2 November 1949 (ff.1-113).
