Lease by Lionel [Cranfield Sackville] Duke of Dorset, Lord of the Manor of the borough of Stratford upon Avon, to Thomas Woolmer, of Old Stratford, gent., of the trees, lops and tops of trees, etc., on the common waste grounds called Great and Little Bancroft, lying between the Avon on the east and south, the stone bridge on the north, and the row of houses called the Waterside houses on the west, with the mud and soil in the cuts and ditches and liberty to plant willows, etc. for 61 years at a yearly rent of 12 shillings.
