Annual returns giving names, professions and residence of members of the Lodge of Silent Temple [Moderns] and general correspondence relating to the running of the lodge. Years 1789, 1792 - 1795, 1803 and 1804 are not extant.

Administrative / biographical background

The Lodge of Silent Temple No. 126 was established in 1763 and met at The Hall, Blucher Street, Burnley, Lancashire. The lodge was named the Lodge of Silent Temple in 1807. The lodge now meets at the Masonic Hall, Nelson Square, Burnley.
