The Lodge of Amity was established in 1763 and met at the Black Bull, Market Place, Hexham, Northumberland. The lodge was erased in 1777 but was subsequently reinstated. The lodge was named the Lodge of Amity in 1780 and in the same year moved its meetings to the Bush Inn, Hall Garth, Hexham. The meetings remained there until 1790 when the lodge was erased.
