Description

Collection of eleven loose prints and five original film negatives, relating principally to Sykes' period as Governor of Bombay 1928-31. The material includes five prints of an official visit to the Ajanta Caves, a mounted portraits of Lady Sykes on horseback (by Backhouse of Poona), two prints of a visit to Kolhapur, one print of a farewell tea party given by Sir Muhammad Ali Khan Dehlavi, President of the Bombay Legislative Council, in Poona (Pune) in August 1933, and a group portrait of the Bombay Legislative Council in 1933.
