Administrative / biographical background

The Lodge of Judah was established in 1784 and named in 1819. In 1784 the lodge met at the Horse and Leaping Bar, Whitechapel, London. In 1827 the lodge met at the St. James's Tavern, St. James's Place, Aldgate and the meetings remained there until the lodge was erased in 1830.
