Description

The Church of the Ascension, Peacehaven, was built as a daughter church to Piddinghoe in 1922. It was dedicated for worship on 2 December 1922 and a separate ecclesiastical parish was created in 1927. A new adjacent church was built and consecrated in October 1955. The old iron church was subsequently used as a parish hall until it was replaced in 1965.
