Description

Sale of a term of 500 years upon Lands in Ireland, late the estate of Thos. Lord Folliot.

Between.

1. Jeremiah Brown, Bishops Castle, and John Wolley, Ludlow, Salop, Gents.

2. Humphrey Sandford Junior, The Isle, Salop, Gent., and Rebecca Sandford his wife.

3. Thomas Bowdler of Shrewsbury, Salop, gent, Michael Brickdail, Shrewsbury, Salop, gent; Mary Sandford (daughter of Humphrey Sandford Senior), Edgton, and Joshna Johnson, Shrewsbury, gent.

4. Rt. Hon. Wm. Conolly, Dublin, Ireland.

WHEREAS by Indenture 10th January 1718 between Humphrey Sandford Senior, Humphrey Sandford Junior, Rebecca Walker, 1st part

2. John Soley and Owen Blodwell

3. Rowland Baugh and Francis Walker

4. Jermiah Brown and John Wolley

THEY Humphrey Sandford, Senior and Humphrey Sandford, Junior and Rebecca Walker did grant, bargain sell, etc. to John Soley etc. the 1/12th of the manors etc. in Ireland late the estate of Thos. Lord Folliot

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD to John Soley etc. but to use of Jeremiah Brown etc. for 500 years upon trust that they should out of the rents etc. ofthe said land (or by their sale) raise £2000, and pay it in discharge of the sum of £1000 (with which an estate was bought in Up Rossall, Salop) and £100 legacy to poor of Salop, and £300 to Mary Sandford, and £600 to Joshua Johnson (in discharge of a debt due to him).

And after 500 years to the use etc. of Humphrey Sandford Junior, for his life, then to Rebecca, her Heirs etc. for ever.

AND WHEREAS Humphrey Sandford and Rebecca his wife HAVE by deed of lease and release in consideration of £4000 granted, bargained, sold etc. to William Conolly the said 1/12th. part of the land in Ireland

AND they (Humphrey Sandford and Rebecca) are willing that the said several sums amounting to £2000 shall be paid by William Conolly out of his purchase money of £4000.

AND that the said term shall be granted and sold by Jeremiah Brown and John Wolley to William Conolly etc.

NOW THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH THAT Jeremiah Brown and John Wolley by direction and in consideration of £2000 payed by William Concolly.

HAVE granted, bargained, and sold, and do grant and to William Conolly etc.

ALL tha t said term of 500 years

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD to his own and Executors and Administrators use.

AND they also covenant, grant, and agree with Conolly that they have not done anything where by the premises or term may be incumbered in title or estate

IN WITNESS etc.
