They include records relating to a grocery and confectionery business at 195 Bell Lane bought by Sarah's daughter, Miss Ellen Openshaw in 1901, and run in partnership with her sister Ada. Their niece, Bessie Dawson, was employed from c. 1913, and in 1948, on the death of Ada, the business was acquired by Miss Dawson and Mrs Ada Davenport (nee Openshaw) trading as 'Miss E Openshaw'.
