Description (What the record is about)
-
Par 3: I thought that the Sapphire engine was very smooth running and most certainly takes a great deal of punishment with only minor protests when the throttle is banged open. I was most impressed at the all-round engine behaviour throughout the flight and even the response to overshooting was fantastic. I enclose my flight figures which might be of interest to your technical people
