Manuscript letter to sec. of R.C.P. signed by Charles Cressy, Charles Edgan Blackstone and Henry Adrian Fitzroy Wilson asking his opinion on the right of Reginald Wickham Prentice LSA LMSA to put up plate calling himself Physician and surgeon; and right of C.E. Blackstone MRCS LRCP and H.A. Wilson MRCS and LRCP to put up plate with title "Drs." 30 Jan. 1923.
RCP-LEGAC/2411/11. Dr. Ormerod. Reply to Charles Cressy (Typescript, signed by Dr. Ormerod) stating that he had no copy of the Regulations of the Society of Apothecaries of London, but he did not think there was anything to prevent one of their Licentiates calling himself Physician and surgeon; and that the R.C.P.'s Licentiates were now allowed to use the courtesy title "Dr." so long as they did not represent themselves as having an University degree in medicine. 6 Feb. 1923.
