These records were originated by (a) Kent Education Department Inspectors and, to a lesser extent (b) Board of Education Inspectors
The condition in which they were received in the Archives Office was that all reports of various types had been kept together in files relating to each Inspector. In order to present the records in the form most satisfactory for researchers, they have been re-arranged into several sub-classes as shown below. Reports are dated between 1921 and 1959 unless otherwise indicated

Reports on re-organisation, sites, accommodation, staffing, etc., for schools in towns, areas or districts
CC/C-E/14/2. Further and Adult Education Technical Institutes and Colleges, Art Schools, Evening Institutes and Schools, etc
