The volume contains the annual administrative reports of the Bombay Presidency, providing a summary of the main events and developments in each department of the Government of Bombay during financial year 1885-86. The report was printed at the Government Central Press, Bombay [Mumbai] in 1886. The report is divided into three parts. Part I contains a report 'SUMMARY' (ff 7-21).
