Plan (tracing cloth) showing the ironstone mine workings in the Eston area. The plan was originally drawn in October of 1898 (when the area was still mined by Bolckow Vaughan and Co. Ltd.), with the worked-out areas being marked in a variety of colours on a twice annual basis through to 1943. A legend is present explaining which colour has been used for each time period.
