Opened in 1857 at Suttons Lane by the Wesleyan Methodists. Rebuilt in 1864 at Victoria Road, though the old chapel continued to be used as a Sunday School until 1877. A new Sunday School was built next to the Chapel in 1878. Closed in 1953 and subsequently sold to Widnes Corporation.
