Suitors: 1. Lawrence Dounes son of Roger Dounes.
Jurors: Thomas earl of Derby lord Stanley, steward; Sewall Worth Esq, John Dounes of Tacsall, John Creswall, Reginald Oldfild. Pledge for Fine Roger Dounes.
Surrender and Admittance (Fine 20d.) for term of life provided that if Lawrence Downes inherit the maritage of any woman worth to him 100s., or if he have been promoted to any benefice of the church worth 100s per ann., then the estate to revert to Roger Dounes immediately, in a messuages and lands in the township of Pot Shriggeley now occupied by Peter Holynshed; value 2s. per annum.
