TURC Application for Funds from BCC for 1991/1992

This is a detailed application for funds made to the Economic Development Committee of Birmingham City Council for Financial Year 1991 / 1992. It followed a formula favoured by the City Council and reflected a need to demonstrate that TURC matched the funding criteria set by BCC and imposed by Local Government legislation.

This application provides a good overview of the services provided and activities undertaken by TURC, as well as the financial and operational pressures faced at that time. It should be borne in mind however that this application had a specific purpose in attracting funding and therefore places emphasis on certain aspects of the Centre's activities that were deemed likely to find favour with the funders.
